As my own reaction to "Lockdown", I painted these two works specifically for the RGA online exhibition "while we wait". This exhibition, which I designed and curated in the spring of 2021, was while we all continued to be stuck at home waiting to see if we could return to physical galleries again. This was the second online exhibition I curated during the various lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 the first being "Celebrating our Town – Discover Reading" which ran for 16 months with three instalments.
